My mom and I always make delicious cakes. Here are the ingredients to make a brownie, this brownie I maked for the fair in school, the recipe is on a dutch website . Here is this one in English;
Ingredients
- 60 gram butter
- 150 gram fine cristalsugar
- 75 gram dark brown sugar
- 125 dark pure chocolate
- 1 ts of syrup (pancake syrup)
- 2 eggs
- 1 ts vanille extract
- 100 gram flour
- 20 gram cocoa powder
- 1 ts of baking powder
PREPARATION
Put butter, both types of sugar, chocolate and syrup in a pan. Put it over a low heat and stir until the butter and chocolate have melted. The sugar granules do not have to melt. Allow the mixture to cool. Room temperature is good, but lukewarm is also allowed.
TIP: To cool the mixture in the pan faster, you can put the pan in a container with cold water. The pan cools immediately, which means the mixture will cool down faster.
Meanwhile beat the eggs and the vanilla extract lightly. Add the chocolate mixture and mix at a low speed until an even mixture.
Add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix again on a low setting until the ingredients are absorbed. Long mixing or high speed is not necessary, otherwise your brownies will not be as creamy as you want.
Pour the batter into a 20 × 20 cm pan lined with baking paper and spread evenly.
Bake the brownie in 190 minutes at 190 degrees Celsius.
The top looks dry after baking, but the inside is still nice and soft and smooth.
TIP: In this article you will find all my tips for the perfect brownie and saving it.
Let the brownie cool completely in the mold before you take it out and cut into pieces.
